Michael Simmons has been in law enforcement for over 27 years. During that time he has been assigned to several units within the police department:

·         Patrol Division

·         Police Area Representative [PAR] Unit

·         Drug Abuse & Resistance Education [DARE] Coordinator

·         DARE Instructor

·         Narcotics Section 

·         SWAT Team

·        Currently is the Department’s Electronic Surveillance Technician for covert/overt applications

He has also been involved in several business associations as well as establishing: 

·         School educational and training programs

·         Neighborhood watch development

·         Designing anti-drug educational campaigns 

·         Also instructed in these programs

Mike has also been sought out to assist with consulting retail businesses in loss prevention practices and the utilization of covert and overt surveillance technology.

Mike designed and implemented an anti-drug campaign called “The Opposition”. This program was designed for law enforcement officers and students to become more involved in community projects.  At the same time Mike also designed and incorporated a music video that involved the community, local businesses, and educational leaders. This video was a finalist in the National Video Awards.

Mike was one of the first active police officer in the United States to host a radio talk show geared towards educating the public about how modern police work is conducted. This program called “Behind the Badge” was aired on KHOW on Sunday nights from 6pm to 8pm

For the last 13 years Mike has been responsible for designing, building and placing into operations both covert and overt surveillance technology. This service is geared toward a multitude of complex applications involving local, state, and federal investigations. He is also recognized as being knowledgeable in the fields of:

Mike is also a Managing Partner of Employment Background Solutions, LLC and Security Consultants & Protection Group, LLClocated in Colorado. Because of his experience in law enforcement and knowledge that he has in the business world Mike has designed and developed a covert wireless networking surveillance camera system that is being marketed by several well known national companies. This system is being sold to local, state and federal law enforcement

Over the last two decades, Mike has been involved in the horse industry, starting with pleasure riding, breeding, and competing in the cutting horse industry. During that time Mike has had the same concerns as others in the industry about protecting our assets.  After talking to several friends in the horse industry, it was evident that there was a need for cutting edge technology. That will assist owners in monitoring horses in foal, sick horses, and their facility. One of the best features of this system and one that holds the greatest potential is the ability to show a horse for sale in real-time over the internet. . We eliminated the practice of using a VCR tape and the mail system for showing a horse for sale. Our system allows you to show your livestock to a client  anywhere in the world.
